There are many Twitter programs out there that everyone raves about in the Twitterverse. Most of them promise lots and then tend to offer little value or ‘under deliver’.
I had around 150 followers last summer and I wanted more people to follow my tweets and visit my websites/blogs. Everything has since changed after I stumbled upon the holy grail of Twitter productivity tools, Tweetspinner. With now over 12,000 Twitter followers, my account has flourished with business and networking opportunities, new real friends and followers.

Tweetspinner offers two tiers of membership and although it is free to sign up, I really want to talk about how the Pro account of Tweetspinner has benefited me.

Toggles profile designs, short bio and URL on profile. - Smart Tweets
Add and schedule tweets, (hence the name Tweetspinner). Create rules-based “smart tweets” with tweetscript. (Advanced but very clever) - DM Outbox: Rules-based messages
Using their extremely robust rules-based DM system, you can create specific rules which, when met, will trigger self-personalising DMs to be sent. (Using the advanced rules requires learning)

- Firstly, make an account on Tweetspinner.
- Once logged in, click the tiny ‘affiliate program’ link at the bottom of the page.
- Find your unique affiliate URL to link your friends to. Eg: Mine is http://tweetspinner.com/7098126
- I figured I needed to recommend 3 people at $15 a month to pay my Pro subscription. 40% of $15 is $6. $6 x 3 is $18. So anyone I recommended beyond that point is pocket money for me that I can put towards ‘financial freedom’ and time it’s taken me to write this post! See below for a recent screen grab of my sign ups. (Notice it shows all the free sign ups that Tweetspinner will go on to try and convert for you using their mailing list.) Where the price is $14 or $18 it’s where the price has fluctuated over time.
To conclude:
If you’re looking for higher grade traffic, targeted followers, more networking opportunities and potentially make some pocket money on the side, Tweetspinner is for you. The price seems very reasonable as the value I’ve gained using it has been huge.
